I'm happy to have you here. That usually means you would like to know more about me! Well, let's get straight to this:
I was raised in Greece and I have studied Applied informatics in Business Administration and Economy ... phew! - A long title!
You will usually find me searching (learning), fixing, or improving something. Always ready to take a new challenge and get back with results! Fluent in Greek & English, and passionate with business and strategy… I would say an “X-Shaped Person”, but... why don't you contact me and realize it by yourself?
Throughout my studies, with most of my courses containing computers, finance, marketing and business administration, I have gained the knowledge to develop the skills needed to hit the ground in this MAGICAL and very competitive world that is called "Bussines".
Prior to my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Informatics in Business Administration and Economy, I obtained my Associate's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications, in which I was involved in many private and governmental projects.
Internationally certified Personal Trainer (EQF 4), Sports Conditioning Specialist (Certified by ACE), with attendance to many conferences and contribution in reaserch.
Certified from one of the biggest Lifeguarding agencies in Greece, both for swimming-pools and for sea/bay, with a lot of pressure and one of the most exhaustive certification procedures and standards.
As a project and team leader at KPMG, I have led SOx audit engagements for EU and US listed entities, ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements, and representing KPMG to C-level clients’ executives, presenting our deliverables and results in a professional and articulate manner. Managing a team of approximately 10 individuals, overseeing their time and project management are some of my responsibilities. I am a core team member of Control Integration consultation and which focuses on the integration and compliance with frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, SWIFT CSCF, FSMA, SOC2, and others. As part of my responsibilities, I perform Quality Assurance reviews of the work completed for the projects I lead, ensuring that we deliver top-quality results.
I joined Deloitte in 2020, immediately after completing my mandatory service in the Greek Army. I am a consultant within Information Technology Risk Consultancy of the Risk Advisory department, in Deloitte Belgium. Since the start as a consultant at Deloitte, I am part of the team that performs the compliance review of the Service Bureaus against the Shared Infrastructure Program, which is based on the Customer Security Controls Framework of SWIFT.
Selected as a classified soldier in the Research and Informatics Corps of the Hellenic Army, duties included administration and support for the Special Forces Division's Intranet and Local Node of the Hellenic Army's C41 System, managing and troubleshooting network equipment, and conducting audits of smaller divisions based on custom military security frameworks. Restructured the division's IT landscape by implementing centralized computing, resulting in increased efficiency and security while reducing costs. Responsible for protecting top-secret classified files, ensured compliance with information security policies, and identified potential vulnerabilities.
I joined Obelis SA in 2018 – I was thrilled to be a part of the creation of the Customer Relations department in the company. During this period, I was not only responsible to provide high-quality services to more than 1000 clients and dealing with the most critical cases of the company - I also contributed on the developing of the department by taking initiatives and deploying the most effective and innovative methods in the field. Always reaching (and exceeding) all the KPIs of the department. Unfortunatly, I had to decline the proposal for the open contract due to my indebtedness to serve my country by joining the military, since it is still mandatory in Greece.
Since I was a kid, I was helping my dad in fixing crashed cars. He is a technician and a car accident expert, working with plethora of insurance companies, so I have been raised in the automotive sector. While I was studying, I took over the strategic management part (unable to manage the operations part from a distance) and I managed to achieve a whopping economic growth of 300% in turnover, in the first year. You will ask "how" and I will answer, simply by changing the mindset of the business from "can't" to "WE CAN" and closing deals with multiple vendors for aftermarket parts and consumables, eliminating the "retail pricing" costs and also entering the market by selling parts and painting materials. That's only few things beside the general increment of the efficiency and organization.
I have managed to constantly keep my online business accounts rated as a Top-Rated seller in the biggest and most known online platforms such as "eBay", "Amazon", and many others.
As an internationally certified Personal Trainer, I was working as a freelancer with my own clients, while I was the Head Trainer in many football teams, Maximizing Athletic Performance (as a certified Sports Conditioning Specialist), while making sure to Prevent Injuries.
Throughout my career, I have been playing as a Dj from some very small private parties, up to some prodigious events as a special guest! You will still find me playing around from time to time (maybe once a year), since the passion is still there and I think that music is always a good hobby to have! However, I wouldn't see my self making a living from this while getting older, so I decided to focus on my business career and keep Djing as my favorite hobby.
